Account-Manager

Position Goals

  • Assists salesforce in driving sales
  • Maximize product margins
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of quotes, proposals, and documentation
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Maintain department and individual metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience preferred 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Uncover potential client sales opportunities
  • Utilize RMM Solutions tools (ConnectWise Sell, etc) in order to ensure professional account support and
  • Complete contract forms, prepare quotes and proposals, change orders, and other project or services related documents.
  • Attend and participate in project kick off
  • Prepare and administer configurations, proposals, pricing, order entry, and opportunity documentation.
  • Maximize product profitability by utilizing vendor promotions, incentives, and registration programs as
  • Conduct reoccurring customer meetings via phone to review reports and ensure customer satisfaction while supporting outside
  • Assist with coordination and attend timely Strategic Business Reviews (SBR’s) and CIO meetings as needed
  • Assist with the creation of IT roadmaps and present recommendations, roadmaps and proposals to clients as needed
  • Manage day-to-day activity of product configurations, pricing, and
  • Develop product knowledge and sales skills by participation in ongoing vendor, distributor, and RMM training
  • Resolve client concerns in a fast and friendly manner and follow up to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve the
  • Receive and process client calls for sales support via phone, fax and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and Procurement for product ordering, receiving, and service delivery.
  • Participates in creating a development plan with manager for career path and takes ownership of following established
  • Develop and maintain distributor/manufacturer relationships
  • Follows departmental processes as defined by manager
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings as scheduled

Travel Requirements

  • Overtime hours may be required based on business need.

  • Travel as assigned and approved by manager as needed.
